The reservations office is staffed Monday to Friday 9 AM to 10 PM and Saturday to Sunday 9 AM to 9 PM Eastern Time for new bookings and customer service. Same-day requests need 3 to 5 hours lead time.

Can I book a one way trip, round trip, or hourly?

Yes. Tri-State Chauffeurs offers three booking structures: one-way point-to-point transfers (e.g., home to airport), round-trip service (e.g., wedding pickup and return), and hourly as-directed service where the chauffeur stays with you for a set number of hours with unlimited stops. Hourly service is ideal for corporate roadshows, wedding parties, sightseeing, and night-out itineraries.

How do I cancel or change a reservation?

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time to avoid charges. Cancellations inside the 24-hour window are charged 60% of the trip total for sedans, crossover SUVs, and SUVs, and 100% for larger vehicle types (Sprinter vans, mini-buses, stretch limos, coach buses). Changes to time, pickup address, or vehicle type can typically be accommodated subject to availability. Call 848-999-9008 or email info@tristatechauffeurs.com as soon as possible to update any last-minute changes.

Can I book a recurring or standing reservation?

Yes. Tri-State Chauffeurs sets up recurring reservations for clients who travel on a regular pattern: weekly airport transfers, daily commutes, monthly business trips, or standing pickup times. Recurring reservations lock in vehicle availability, simplify billing, and can be set up by calling 866-874-7824 or emailing info@tristatechauffeurs.com.

Can someone else book a ride on my behalf?

Yes. Many reservations are booked by executive assistants, travel coordinators, family members, or event planners on behalf of the actual passenger. The booking party provides the passenger's name, best contact info, pickup and drop-off details, and places a credit card on file. The passenger does not need to be present at booking.

How do I know my booking is confirmed?

You receive a booking confirmation by email and text within minutes. You will also get your chauffeur's name, direct phone number, and vehicle info 24 hours before pickup.

Can I book from outside the United States?

Yes. International clients can book Tri-State Chauffeurs by phone, email, or the online reservation form before traveling. Many international travelers book PHL, JFK, EWR, or LGA pickups in advance for a streamlined arrival experience. Tri-State Chauffeurs is reachable internationally via info@tristatechauffeurs.com and via WhatsApp at +1-848-999-9008.

Can I make changes to my pickup address or destination after booking?

Yes. Address, time, and destination changes can be made up to a few hours before the scheduled pickup, subject to vehicle availability and routing. In 99% of cases we can accommodate the request. Significant changes (large distance increases, additional stops, vehicle upgrades) may affect the quoted rate. Call 866-874-7824 as early as possible to update.

What happens if I'm running late for my pickup?

Tri-State Chauffeurs chauffeurs can accommodate reasonable delays. Text or call the chauffeur directly (their number is sent the day before) or call dispatch at 848-999-9008 or 866-874-7824. Standard industry practice is a 15-minute grace period before scheduled pickup. Wait time charges begin after the 15-minute grace period within reason. Airport wait time charges apply if you exceed the grace period of 30 minutes for domestic arrivals (wheels down or gate arrival) and 60 minutes for international arrivals. Rerouting may affect the rate if it materially changes the trip.

Can I book multiple stops on one trip?

Yes. Tri-State Chauffeurs handles multi-stop itineraries. Common examples include picking up multiple wedding party members from different homes, dropping off one passenger at the airport before continuing to a second destination, or hourly as-directed service with unlimited stops within the booked time block. Specify all stops at the time of booking so the route can be planned and quoted accurately.

Tri-State Chauffeurs has a dedicated web-based booker through ridebitsapp.com. All pages across the website link to https://tristatechauffeurs.ridebitsapp.com/booker. The mobile booking app companion can be found in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store by searching for Trip Booker. Use the mobile app referral code TriStateChauffeurs.

When is my card charged?

After the trip is completed. You will receive a receipt by email.

How do I leave a review or provide feedback?

Google Reviews is our preferred platform. You can also email info@tristatechauffeurs.com directly. We read every message personally.

What if something went wrong on my trip?

Email info@tristatechauffeurs.com or call 848-999-9008. We respond within one business hour and work to make it right.

How much does Tri-State Chauffeurs cost?

Tri-State Chauffeurs uses transparent flat-rate pricing based on vehicle type, route, and total trip time. Representative starting prices include sedan service from Newark Airport (EWR) to Manhattan starting at approximately $175 including all tolls. Hourly executive sedan service starts at $110 per hour with a 2.5-hour minimum. All quotes are provided in writing before the trip, with no surge pricing and no hidden fees. Request a personalized quote at www.tristatechauffeurs.com or by calling 866-874-7824.

Payment is made directly to the chauffeur at the end of the ride unless other arrangements have been made. Corporate and business clients can request invoicing or direct billing. Invoices are due within 24 hours; a 10% daily late surcharge applies after that. All major credit cards are accepted.

Is gratuity included in the price?

Gratuity is not included in the base fare. Tri-State Chauffeurs suggests an industry-standard gratuity of 18-20% of the ride total, which can be added to the final payment or pre-included for corporate bookings upon request. For all event transportation and specialty vehicle reservations, a standard gratuity of 20% is added to the final bill. This applies to Sprinter vans, mini-buses, party buses, and coach buses.

Are there extra charges for tolls, parking, or wait time?

Tolls are always factored into your quote. Parking is not included in any rate quote (if necessary or requested, such as meet-and-greet, sporting events, or concerts). Wait time policy: 30 minutes free wait for domestic arrivals and 60 minutes free wait for international arrivals after wheels down or gate arrival, then $30 per 30-minute increments. Tri-State Chauffeurs discloses any pass-through charges at the time of your quote request, so there are no surprises.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

No deposit is required for standard reservations. Only a credit card is needed to secure, confirm, and reserve the booking. For weddings, large groups, and multi-vehicle events, a deposit may apply. Typical deposit terms are 60% deposit.

Is the price I'm quoted the final price?

Yes. The quoted Tri-State Chauffeurs flat rate includes vehicle fee, chauffeur, fuel, and standard tolls on the planned route. Items not included in the flat rate quote are tip and gratuity, parking (when meet-and-greet is requested or for sporting or concert events), and any client-requested add-ons (child seats, additional stops not in the original quote, extended wait time beyond the included grace period). All pass-through charges are disclosed at the time of quote. There are no surprise fees.

Are there any extra fees for late night or holiday service?

Tri-State Chauffeurs does not charge additional surcharges for late night, holiday, or peak-season service. Many chauffeur companies do; some do not. Ride-share services like Uber and Lyft apply surcharges on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and Thanksgiving. With Tri-State Chauffeurs you never have to worry about surge pricing or additional surcharges for peak times or holidays. Pricing is transparent and upfront.

Is parking my own car at the airport cheaper than booking chauffeur service?

For most travelers, the math favors Tri-State Chauffeurs once parking, gas, and tolls are accounted for. Long-term parking at JFK, LGA, EWR, and PHL ranges from approximately $36 to $80 or more per day, plus round-trip fuel, tolls, and the time and stress of driving and parking. For a 5-to-7 day trip, parking costs alone can equal or exceed a round-trip flat rate, without the convenience of a chauffeur handling traffic, weather, and luggage door to door.

Can I pay with a corporate card or get an invoice for expense reporting?

Yes. Tri-State Chauffeurs can provide itemized invoices for any ride at no extra charge, useful for personal expense reports and corporate reimbursement. Corporate clients with direct billing accounts receive consolidated daily or weekly invoices with custom reporting (cost, traveler name, destination) for streamlined expense management.

Do you accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, or PayPal?

Accepted payment methods are all major credit cards. Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, and PayPal are not accepted.

Can I dispute a charge or request a refund?

Tri-State Chauffeurs takes billing disputes seriously. If you have a question about a charge or believe an error has been made, contact dispatch at 866-874-7824 or email info@tristatechauffeurs.com within 2 days of the ride. The team will review the trip details, route, and quoted rate. Refunds for service issues are evaluated case by case.

Is there a discount for first-time customers, referrals, or seniors?

New customers receive 10% off their first booking. Pricing on the website already reflects the 10% new customer discount. Deeper discounts apply for round-trip bookings (e.g., airport transfers, point-to-point transfers).
